• Some able batting support from messrs Bonfield and Everett
• A might smite for six by Sam against his real chums
• Some record economical bowling also by Sam (from memory 4 – 2 -6 -2)
• An entertaining lesson in how to throw from Rob G
• Liam shouting ‘catch it’ to a ball 20 yards away from Sam
• The huge cheer emanating from yours truly (you can probably guess why........) when Richard was comprehensively stumped off the last ball of our innings for a duck
• The awarding of a Trundlers cap in a moving ceremony before the game to the 5 Trundlers who had completed the requisite 5 games
• The sun shining

Oh and the result – we came second.
